He earned his BA in criminology from St. Leo University, his MPA from Troy State University, and his EdD in organizational leadership from Southeastern University. He is certified in law enforcement cross training and is a member of the International Homicide Investigator Association and the Florida Sexual Crimes Investigator Association. He previously served as a police officer in the uniform patrol division and as a sergeant in the special victims unit and violent crimes unit at Lakeland Police Department. This expert is currently a sergeant in the uniform patrol division at a police department in Florida and an adjunct professor of criminal justice at a state college in Florida.

He earned his BS in political science and his MS in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida. Currently, he is a security director for a university in Florida, a part-time contract investigator for a financial security services company based in Maryland, and the president of his own law enforcement and private security consultancy.
