This expert is well versed in OSHA compliance, processes, and procedures, as well as all safety initiatives, for forest product plants. He is the former manager of Texas Port Recycling, where he was responsible for facility safety and environmental/production performance. He managed 50 employees, including training in OSHA compliance and inspecting plant materials. He is currently the safety coordinator for a plywood plant where he manages safety initiatives and OSHA compliance.

This highly qualified toxicologist earned his PhD in Toxicology at Oregon State University, as well as a BS at the University of Texas and MS in Applied Environmental Sciences at the University of North Texas. He has served on several expert panels with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, National Academies of Science and other scientific agencies and government organizations. He has a strong expertise in risk assessment and the toxicology of pesticides and metals. Formerly, this expert served as a Public health Toxicologist for Oregon State Public Health. Currently, he is a tenured Associate Professor and Director of an Environmental Health Center at a major research-based university where he focuses on human health concerns related to chemical exposure and approaches to risk assessment.

This expert is an accomplished security and risk management consultant within the international major events environment. He has over 15 years of security planning and operational management for major events, including the Baku 2015 European Games, ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, 6 Olympic Games, 2010 G8 & G20 Summit (Toronto) and from his experience as an Australian Army Special Forces officer. He has been considered a leader in strategies and operational solutions to align and integrate Event Organizing Committees with Government Security Authorities, Police and the private security sector within complex, multi-agency, major event environments. He has led and managed multi-national project teams in Azerbaijan, USA, Greece, Italy, Canada and the UK, and has also worked on projects in Qatar & Russia. An accomplished technical writer, he has supported six Host City Bids as the lead writer for the Host City Bid Book (Safety and Security) including two successful Host City campaigns - Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games and the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup. He is a regular lecturer and contributing writer on Major Event Security and Event Risk Management and has been engaged as an Expert Witness on security and risk management. In 2015, he was invited to join the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) World Board of Directors.
