He earned his BS from California State University, Fresno and is a licensed chartered property casualty underwriter and a casualty claim law associate. He previously held positions at Devonshire Group, West Coast Casualty Service, American States Insurance Company, and AIM Insurance Company, among others. He has served as an independent consultant and adjuster for the last 13 years.

Recent projects include the Luskin Conference Center, Hitch and Saxon Residences, Fielding School of Public Health, Geffen Hall, Engineering 6, Pauley Pavilion, the Court of Sciences Student Center, Boelter Hall, the Edie and Lew Wasserman Building, the Young Research Library, and the Spieker Aquatic Center, and Mira Hershey Hall. This expert is also a Lecturer for a prominent California University’s Department of Architecture and Urban Design, focusing on Professional Practice, Liability, and Construction. He has formerly served as the deputy sheriff for the Larimer County Sheriff's Office and an investigator for the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office. For over 10 years, this expert as an agent for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, acting as the agent in charge for a period of time. He has also served the director of security and investigations for the Colorado Lottery. He has also previously held a number of positions during his tenure with the Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division. He has formerly served as the manager of risk control and claims for Chiquita Brands International, the director of risk services for the Pillsbury Company, the vice president of risk management for Advance Auto Parts Company, and the director of risk management for Central Parking System. Most recently, this expert served as the director of liability claims for Publix Super Markets.
