This highly qualified expert is the founder and principal of a consultancy for technology and intellectual property investigation in electrical machines, electromagnetic devices, and their applications, particularly in the automotive, aerospace and transportation fields. He holds 49 US patents with 4 more applied for, and authored or co-authored twenty-two papers in referred journals. He is the recipient of ten Best Paper Awards, seven from the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), and three from the Society of Automotive Engineers. This expert is also past President of the IEEE Industry Applications Society. This expert received a first degree in France from Ecole Suprieure d'Electricit and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He then joined General Motors Research Laboratories, and, later on, Delphi Research Labs, when Delphi Corporation was spun off from General Motors. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering and his Master of Engineering Science in Ireland before coming to the United States while working for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, where he designed electronic hardware and system software for air braked truck / trailer ABS and traction control systems. He then worked on ABS and traction control for passenger cars and subsequently started the Electronics Division at Wabash National which he led from 1998 to 2003. This expert has over 15 years of experience in the passenger transport industry. He began his career with Yellow Cab Company, the oldest and largest taxicab service provider in the US and ultimately served as the President of the organization for 18 years. He is responsible for transforming the Yellow Cab Company from a midsize local operator into the largest fleet in the country. He went on to serve as the President of Midas Auto Service and led 10 franchises before he transitioned to Taxi Medallion Management LLC, where he grew the company to a fleet of over 800 medallions. Currently, he serves as a transportation consultant in Illinois where he provides consulting services to passenger transport organizations and advises on issues related to DOT regulations, hiring, and safety.
