Investigation Expert Witnesses in New Mexico

This expert has over 40 years of experience in engineering and construction, with more than 35 years of experience in the field of natural gas and propane incidents, pipeline construction and operation, and water and sewer systems. He is currently the president of a reputable forensic engineering and failure analysis company. His primary areas of expertise include residential, commercial and industrial natural gas and LP gas fires, explosions and carbon monoxide incidents. He has experience with gas processing plants, regulator stations, compressor stations, and other facilities and has conducted numerous investigations and has testified about issues at these types of facilities. He has investigated many carbon monoxide incidents and has conducted major carbon monoxide testing programs throughout the country. He has a great deal of experience and has testified on numerous occasions regarding carbon monoxide issues.

This expert has spent more than three decades in the federal government, filling critical national security roles domestically and on behalf of the U.S. government overseas. He previously served as Assistant Administrator of TSA Security Operations, overseeing 450 airports and a $3.7 billion dollar budget. During his tenure, he successfully led a reorganization of the Office of Security Operations (OSO), improving communication with the field, streamlining HQ field management, realigning the Federal Security Director’s staffing and frontline management, and implementing new performance measures, resulting in cost reductions and increased efficiencies throughout the network. He also served in the Senior Executive Service at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), where he worked in key capacities at headquarters and in the field. In August of 2009, He returned to the U.S. after completing his service as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) attaché at the U.S. Embassy in London, where he was the senior homeland security official representing the Secretary of DHS, the TSA Administrator, and the U.S. Chief of Mission for the Embassy in London. He is currently a Senior Advisor at a global security and intelligence consulting firm.

This expert has over 20 years of experience in wildland fire investigation, suppression, prescribed fire, and training. He is currently the President/Owner of a private wildfire investigation, consulting, and training firm. Previously, he served as a Special Agent with the US Forest Service, specializing in wildland fire investigation and performing as the national wildland fire investigation expert, as well as, detailing as the Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge. He was also the Incident Commander of the US Forest Service Law Enforcement & Investigations Fire Investigation Team and received the US Forest Service's Special Agent of the Year Award. He is currently an active member, and former Co-Chair, of the National Wildfire Coordinating Group's Wildland Fire Investigation Committee. He has investigated hundreds of wildland fires, to include the largest fires in the history of Arizona and New Mexico. He has also instructed numerous wildland fire investigation training courses, both nationally and internationally. He was also a Subject Matter Expert in the U.S. Forest Service's International Programs organization. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance from Northern Arizona University.

This expert has over 20 years of experience in the field of digital forensics. She attended the Arizona Law Enforcement Academy, and served the Phoenix Police Department as a Digital Mobile Forensic Detective. While working there, she worked in several different units, including the Home Invasion Kidnapping Enforcement Unit, the Intelligence Action Center, and the Digital Forensic Investigation Unit. She has participated in many trainings and classes, earning her several certifications on different areas of digital forensics. She currently serves as a Cell Phone & Cell Tower Forensic Investigator at a Private Forensics Firm in Arizona.
