He is board certified in Occupational Medicine, following training at Medical College of Wisconsin. He formerly served as a Clinical Instructor for Medical College of Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin. He is certified as a Medical Review Officer for the Department of Transportation. He holds additional certification from the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. He is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
