He has been a contributing monthly columnist to an automotive dealer publication for nearly 20 years, while he is the co-author and co-presenter of an automotive management course. He is the recipient of ten Best Paper Awards, seven from the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), and three from the Society of Automotive Engineers. This expert received a first degree in France from Ecole Suprieure d'Electricit and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He then joined General Motors Research Laboratories, and, later on, Delphi Research Labs, when Delphi Corporation was spun off from General Motors. Formerly, he was an owner technician at Auto Masters, the Lead Technician at Ark Automotive, and a diagnostician at Certified Transmission Independence. Currently, he is an instructor at a large automotive training company.

This extremely qualified expert has years of experience in the development of design and control strategies for hybrid electric vehicles. He received his BS degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and both his MS and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering from Stanford University. He has received several honors for his outstanding work, including the Max Bentele Award for engine technology innovation. He has published 50+ refereed journal articles and serves as an associate editor for 4+ renowned mechanical engineering journals.
