Expert Qualifications
This expert in intellectual property and patents received his BA in astronomy and his MA in physics from the University of California-Berkeley as well as his JD from Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Bar of the State of California and is registered to practice before the US Patent & Trademark Office. He has extensive experience in patent portfolio strategy and management, as well as IP protection for startups. This expert has previously served in a variety of roles in the realms of patents and intellectual property within law firms and in-house departments, including as a director and chief patent counsel, vice president and patent portfolio manager, and partner. Currently, he serves as the partner for the intellectual property segment of one of the oldest law firms in the Pacific Northwest.
