This chemical compound known as Anti Slip Solution would prevent slip & fall accidents when applied to the surface. He currently consults with clients nationwide regarding slip and fall prevention, slip and fall safety programs and maintenance protocol. He also conducts surface testing in slip and fall litigation to determine if the surface in question is suitable for the demands of the environment and the activities conducted. All surface testing is conducted using a BOT-3000E (Binary Output Tribometer) in accordance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI). The BOT-3000E is a robotic type of tribometer that represents the leading edge of technology in the field of slip resistance. This machine is designed to test both Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) as well as Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF). The test method is referred to as touch down friction� which simulates how a person's foot would contact the floor during normal ambulation. The BOT-3000E is an electromechanical device whose operation and output cannot be effected by the operator, thus making it the first user-independent tribometer. The BOT 3000E also has a data port allowing the operator to download results in PDF format. Surface testing using the BOT 3000E will assist in determining if the surface in question is suitable for the demands of the environment and the activities that are conducted.

This highly qualified expert earned his BS and PhD in metallurgical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a licensed engineer in five states and has over 34 years of engineering experience. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and a founding member of the Failure Analysis Society. He has published 18 articles on various topics in engineering and currently serves as a principal engineer at an engineering consulting firm in Illinois.

This expert has significant experience in the development of new products and new test methods for their evaluation, including emerging nano and bio technology based products for healthcare, body protection, space exploration, etc. applications. His research contributions cover the areas of objective evaluation of subjective properties, the study of structure-property relationships, and process/product optimization. He completed his BS and MS in Textile Technology at the University of Madras. In addition, he is active in his field serving as a leader in several AATCC technical committees and in the Fiber Society. Formerly, he held roles as Professor of Textile Technology at the University of Madras, Research Associate at North Carolina State University, and Research Scientist at Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently, he serves as Principal Research Scientist at Georgia Institute of Technology. In this position, he coordinates the industry support activities of his school and works extensively with the global textile and allied industries to solve a wide range of problems associated with the design, production and quality of fiber based products. His background in materials covers all three material types - polymers, metals and ceramics. In the last 12 years, he served as an expert witness in more than 25 litigations spread across multiple states. He worked for both defendants and plaintiffs represented by the local, state and federal government and private agencies.

This expert is a full professor of Mechanical Engineering at a prominent university in the Western US. He received his PhD in Welding and Materials Engineering from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining academia, he worked as a research assistant at Edison Welding Institute and as a materials engineer at Westinghouse-Power Generation. His research interests are in the area of materials joining, materials characterization, and the relationships between microstructure and mechanical properties.

This highly-qualified expert has over 25 years of experience in the areas of electronic materials, electronic components (capacitors, resistors, inductors, batteries, antennae, etc.) and assemblies (surface mount), intellectual property, product development, process optimization, market studies, and grants. He earned his MS in materials science and engineering from the University of Florida and his MBA from Webster University. He went on to complete his PhD in materials science and engineering at the University of Florida. Formerly, he served in many different research and engineering roles at firms relating to electronic materials. This expert also served as the director of research and development in electronic materials at Ferro Corporation, as director of advanced technology at KEMET Electronics, and as chief economic development officer at Health Sciences South Carolina. Currently, he is president of the consulting of an electronic materials firm in South Carolina.

This expert in material sciences and electrochemistry received his BA in bio-engineering from the University of Pittsburgh before studying medical device fabrication science and then obtaining his PhD in physics at the University of Melbourne. He has experience with medical devices such as neural stimulators, neural recorders, and chemical sensors. This expert has two approved patents and two pending patents relating to materials used for medical devices and has published 27 articles in his field. Formerly, he served as a Fulbright research fellow at the Center for Eye Research Australia, a medical devices scientist at the University of Melbourne, and an NIH postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, this expert is a senior scientist at a medical device company in California. He is also a co-founder and the CTO of a medical device company that specializes in developing bio-stable materials for neuro-interface devices.
