Expert Qualifications

This expert has nearly 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He received his BS in materials engineering, his MS in management, and his MSE from the American University in Cairo. He then earned his PhD in engineering at the University of Central Florida. This expert is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the American Council for Construction Education, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the National Home Builders Association. He is also involved in research, having authored numerous publications and received funding for multiple research studies. He has formerly served in a variety of industry and academic positions. Most notably, he was the project manager and assistant general construction manager for ICAT Construction, senior system engineer for Thiokol Corporation working on portions of the Kennedy Space Center, and assistant professor of construction and contracting at Georgia Southern University. Currently, this expert serves as a professor and the chair of the construction management department at a university in Florida.
