This expert has served as a heavy equipment mechanic and maintenance specialist for over 30 years. He is ASE certified in 8 different areas as a Medium/Heavy Truck Technician and 5 areas as an Automotive Technician. He is a former mechanic for the Utah Transit Authority where he performed maintenance and repairs in a variety of areas including suspensions, rotors, brake systems, and hydraulic systems. He also served as a mechanic at Sunroc Construction and Materials where he performed repairs on fleets of heavy construction equipment including dump trucks, trailers, loaders, and bulldozers. Currently, he is a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at a government transportation unit in UT where he performs preventative maintenance and repairs on transmission and brake systems for trucks and heavy road maintenance vehicles.

This expert has 27+ years of experience in specialty vehicle engineering and design. Currently, he works as the Manager of the Vehicle Engineering Group for a large scientific advisory company. The expert earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and has authored multiple publications in his field. Previously, he was the Director of Engineering for Capacity Trucks and the Chassis Development Leader for Thor Motor Coach. He is also a member of the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.

This qualified expert has nearly 30 years of experience in the trucking industry. He is a Smith System certified driver trainer, a certified forklift operator, a certified sUAS remote pilot, and a certified Bosch CDR technician. He is currently licensed as a Class AM commercial driver with tank endorsement. He has also completed courses in DOT compliance and safety and vehicle accident reconstruction. He has worked as a commercial driver for a multitude of companies, including Millar Trucking, Min-Tex Express, John Christner Trucking, and Knight Transportation. He also served as a driver trainer for Covenant Transport and Frozen Food Express and a lease operator for John Christner Trucking. This expert is currently the owner of a transportation consulting firm based in Texas.
