He has extensive certifications in haz-mat operations and emergency response, specifically as it relates to OSHA compliance. He is the currently the President and founder of an environmental health and safety (EHS) services firm and provides expert witness services. He is a frequent trainer / presenter and has been an OSHA Authorized Instructor for General Industry and Construction Safety Courses since 1990. He provides instructor-trainer programs for the OSHA Training Institute Outreach Program. He has conducted research in the area of slip-resistance and regularly evaluates walking surfaces, floor treatments and footwear for slip-resistance for manufacturers, facility owners and legal cases. After receiving his BS in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University, this expert went on to receive Master Certificates in Project Management and Executive Leadership for Safety Professionals from Boston University and Harvard University respectively. He also received his law degree from Champlain College. This expert is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and the National Association of Safety Professionals, and he is a certified Safety Consultant and Safety Specialist.
