This expert has been involved in the LED industry since 2005. He managed the patent portfolio for Color Kinetics and enjoyed considerable success in building out a functional licensing program for the world-wide LED industry. He went on to be the IP Strategist and GM of Custom Solutions for Lighting Science Group. Since 2010 he has worked as an independent advisor to a wide range of LED companies in North America, Europe, and Asia, focusing on IP strategy, product development, new market entry, fund-raising, and related activities. He is a former instructor in IP strategy for the Licensing Executive Society. He currently serves on technical advisory boards and boards of directors for LED lighting companies in the US and Europe, and remains active in assisting both young and established companies in the pursuit of their goals for growth.'

This expert has been working as a mechanical engineer and testifying expert witness for over 30 years. He holds both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a BES from Georgia Tech. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a Member of SAE and ASM. This expert is a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE), providing expertise across a wide range of engineering topics and fields. He has deep experience in medical devices including cardiovascular, orthopedic, and spinal applications and applications of nitinol shape memory materials. He has experience as an Expert Witness, has testified in trial and deposition, and authored expert reports and IPR declarations. He works in patents and product failure analysis and forensics. He was previously Faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Santa Clara University as well as a Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University.

This well credentialed expert has more than three decades of experience in finance, economics, and statistics, with particular expertise in economic damages assessments, employment litigation, securities and business valuations. He earned his BS in Math and Economics from the University of Oregon, his MBA in Finance from University of California, Los Angeles, and his PhD in Financial Economics from University of California, Los Angeles. He also is a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute. He is a past member of numerous national consulting practices, all of which focused on forensic economic matters. In addition, he was a lecturer in Finance at the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, San Diego, as well as an Assistant Professor at University of California, Irvine. The expert has authored numerous articles and reports in his field. He is currently a Partner at an Economic and Accounting Consulting Firm in California.
