He holds a BA in economics from Brandeis University and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of California, Berkeley. Throughout his career managing portfolios and funds, he has bought and sold options and traded stocks, ETFs and mutual funds. As the former Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Charles Schwab, he managed a $3.5B of mutual fund assets. In this role he was responsible for developing and implementing portfolio strategy, including asset allocation among multiple asset classes and selection of underlying funds. He then went on to serve as President and Chief Investment Officer for Adviser Partners, a boutique asset manager that manages equities and asset allocation products for advisers, financial institutions and family offices. He currently oversees the investment process, research activities and portfolio strategy for an investment firm in Boston, MA.
