This qualified expert has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field. She earned her BS from Rush University and her MBA from Lewis University. She earned several post-graduate certificates, including a CCM Masters Certificate in case management and a Masters Certificate in corporate governance from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. This expert also graduated as part of the eighth cohort of Goldman Sachs' 10,000 small businesses program. This expert is a licensed RN in two states and is certified in several areas, including healthcare financial management, business management, and risk management assurance. She began her career as a registered nurse at three Chicago-area hospitals before transitioning to work as an internal medical auditor. This expert has also served as a healthcare subject matter expert for the Illinois department of central management services and an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University. She has authored numerous articles, been interviewed for radio shows and podcasts, and led several presentations and workshops. She has received multiple awards for her work, including an award for Influential Women in Business. Currently, she is the president and CEO of a healthcare consulting, auditing, and forensic services firm based in Illinois.
