This expert has over 24 years experience in the fire, water, and storm damage restoration industry and currently serves as President of a property restoration company. He holds various certifications and designations from the Restoration Industry Association, National Association of Homebuilders, and the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification such as Certified Restorer, Water Damage Restoration, and Graduate Master Remodeler. He specializes in assisting homeowners through each phase of the damage restoration process and has published a guide for homeowner insurance claims.

This expert has more than 30 years experience investigating water heater, valving, piping, and injuries related to steam and water pressure. He earned his bachelors and masters degrees in Physics from Georgia Tech and is highly regarded in his field. He is currently the Principal of a mechanical engineering firm that investigates industrial steam accidents, provides consulting to operators of high pressure steam systems experiencing water hammer, and provides seminars to operators and engineers on understanding water hammer in steam systems.

This expert has 40+ years of experience in drinking water supply, treatment and distribution systems. From 1994 to 2013, he served as the director of one of the largest drinking water utilities in Virginia, supplying water to 400,000 residents. A civil and environmental engineer by training, he has maintained a particular focus on water treatment facilities, water supply systems, water distribution technologies, and water utility operations over the course of his career. He has directed raw water source selection studies, water distribution system analyses, water quality studies, rate studies, corrosion control investigations, treatment plant rehabilitation projects, and construction supervision of water treatment plants, pipelines, and other water supply projects. He was named Chairman of an EPA council for drinking water, and has testified before Congress on three occasions on water quality and chemical security issues.
