Life Insurance Expert Witnesses in Arizona

This expert began his career in underwriting in the 1960's, managing a regional general agency with broad underwriting authority specializing in property real and personal coverage, running the gamut from simple auto and homeowners’ policies to complex property, inland marine, manufacturer’s output and ocean marine policies. When he sold his agency in 1988, he had 60 employees and annual revenues in excess of $10,000,000. His career also includes a wealth of claims experience, personally having draft issuing authority to settle claims for a number of different insurance carriers. He currently manages a consultancy dedicated to standard of care issues special realationships underwriting and claims handling issues.

This expert has over 25 years of experience in the life insurance industry in southern California and is familiar with post-claims underwriting issues. He earned his BA in psychology from California State University Northridge. He is a certified insurance counselor and fund specialist, and is an associate in both insurance services and personal insurance. He specializes in life, home, and personal insurance. The expert holds agent status with six major carriers, including elite status with Travelers. He is also a member of several associations, including the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the American Bar Association. He currently serves as is the president and principal agent of a private insurance agency in California.

She earned her BA in public health from Johns Hopkins University and an MPH in occupational epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriting and a member of the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences. She has authored over 80 insurance-related publications throughout her career, including underwriting manuals. The expert formerly served as an underwriting researcher for Lincoln National Reinsurance, Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance, and Kaiser Permanente. Currently, she serves as the principal of a private life and health insurance consultancy in Nevada.
