He holds additional certification from the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. He is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He currently serves as Medical Director of a major occupational health clinic.

This highly qualified expert has more than 30 years of experience in the field of industrial hygiene. He earned his BA in chemistry from Macalester College before earning an MS in food science, an MPH in environmental health, and a PhD in environmental health all at the University of Minnesota. He is a certified industrial hygienist in comprehensive practice and chemical aspects. He formerly served as hazardous waste manager at the University of Minnesota and as a research associate - analytical laboratory supervisor at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He then went on to work as a staff scientist at Hazleton Laboratories of America, as director of industrial hygiene at Northland Environmental Services, and finally as a professor of industrial hygiene and environmental chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He currently serves as a senior consultant in industrial hygiene at a consultancy in WI.
