He earned his Bachelor's from Indiana University and his Master's degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management and PhD in Education-Instructional Design from Purdue University. This expert is active in her field as a member of numerous professional associations including the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the National Afterschool Association. Formerly, she worked as a teacher at several schools in Illinois and went on to become the director of Nazarene Kiddie College. After this, she held a variety of positions in child care centers including director of the Illinois training center and master academy with LaPetite Academy and director of operations and education at Exploration Bay.
