This expert is trained and board certified in radiation oncology. Currently a professor at a major medical center, he continues to treat patients and conduct research projects. He also serves as a reviewer for the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. His clinical interests include pediatric cancers, breast cancer and sarcoma.

This former Salt Lake City police officer was with the force for two periods spanning from 1984 until 2004. He spent time as a Patrol Officer, a Field Training Officer, and a Detective, working in Vice, Narcotics, and Financial/Computer crimes, among other departments. He was graduated from Utah POST (Peace Officer Standard and Training) the Utah Drug Academy and completed several courses relating to Law Enforcement. These include; Interviews and Interrogations, Search Warrant writing, applications and affidavits, and Computer Crimes. He served as a Chief of Police and Security for the Department of Veterans Affairs during this time period. Since 2004, the expert has worked as an independent consultant and investigator. He has a B.S. in Sociology and an M.B.A. He is bi-lingual and can read, write and speak Spanish. He was also a primary contributor to the First Congressional Study on Gulf War Illness.

This law enforcement professional spent 21 years with several police forces in Utah. He began his career with the Midvale Police Department, where he worked from 1995 until 2001 and held positions including Patrol Officer, Officer in Charge, Auto Theft Detective, VICE Detective, and SWAT Operator. The expect then joined the South Salt Lake City police force, where he worked as a Narcotics Detective until 2006. He ended his police career in 2016 as a Sergeant for the Washington City Public Safety Department. During his career, he spent several years supervising field training programs. He also supervised animal control and code enforcement. The expert completed numerous officer training, including in Search and Seizure Law.

This expert has extensive work experience in the healthcare supply chain and hospital procurement fields. He began his career as the Assistant Director of Purchasing at a Michigan medical center, and then served for nearly a decade as a Purchasing Agent for a South Carolina hospital system. Later on, he served as the Director of Capital Equipment Services at Aurora Health Care, VP of Logistics at Amita Health, the Director of Procurement at Avera Health, and the Chief Procurement Officer at Florida Blue. A member of the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management, he is designated by the Institute for Supply Management as a Certified Purchasing Manager. He earned his BBA from Northwood University in Michigan and is pursuing an MBA, with a focus on Health Care Administration, at Benedictine University. He actively practices in the field, serving as the Director of Materials Management at a Utah hospital and advising a Colorado health alliance.

This expert has served as a heavy equipment mechanic and maintenance specialist for over 30 years. He is ASE certified in 8 different areas as a Medium/Heavy Truck Technician and 5 areas as an Automotive Technician. He is a former mechanic for the Utah Transit Authority where he performed maintenance and repairs in a variety of areas including suspensions, rotors, brake systems, and hydraulic systems. He also served as a mechanic at Sunroc Construction and Materials where he performed repairs on fleets of heavy construction equipment including dump trucks, trailers, loaders, and bulldozers. Currently, he is a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at a government transportation unit in UT where he performs preventative maintenance and repairs on transmission and brake systems for trucks and heavy road maintenance vehicles.

This expert has been in practice for over 30 years and has visiting professor appointments in multiple countries. He obtained his MD from the Medical University of Lubeck and completed a couple of internships in Medicine, Gynecology, and Surgery in Germany. Stateside, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at West Suburban Hospital and residency and fellowship at the University of Illinois. He is a member of many academic and specialty related associations, serves on numerous committees for Hematology and the advancement of the research.

This qualified Fluid Flow Engineering Expert obtained his BSE in Civil Engineering and his MSE and Ph.D in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University. He is a Certified Engineer in Utah and has published 40+ articles focused on Civil and Environmental Engineering research. He is a member of the American Water Works Association and the American Society of Engineers and is currently a Research Professor in Civil and Environmental at a University in the West, a Civil and Environmental Engineer at a Water Research Laboratory, and a Consultant at a Private Consulting Firm. Expert has provided testimony and technical reports as well as external review of technical reports and analysis.

This expert is a sport scientist, trained in exercise physiology and bio-mechanics. He recently served as the National Director of Education for the National Strength and Conditioning Association in Colorado Springs, CO. He has served as the Director of the Monfort Family Human Performance Research Laboratory at Colorado Mesa University. At the U.S. Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs, he was Recovery Center Leader, Head of Sport Biomechanics and Engineering, and Senior Physiologist. He has over 40 years experience in Olympic sports. This expert has served as an associate professor at the University of Utah’s Department of Exercise and Sport Science and Co-Director of the Motor Behavior Research Laboratory with adjunct appointments in Bioengineering and Physical Therapy. He was the Department Chair of Exercise Science & Sports Medicine at California Lutheran University and Director of the Human Performance Laboratory. Other positions include: Director of Research and Development for USA Gymnastics, Scientific Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation, and Chair of the United States Elite Coaches Association for Women’s Gymnastics. He has written 11 books, over 25 book chapters, received over $¼ million in grants and contracts, published over 300 articles on sport performance, over 35 professional awards. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, certified as an Athlete Recovery Specialist, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Wilderness EMT, and has several certifications in emergency communications, emergency medicine, and search and rescue.

This professor of Metallurgy maintains a keen expertise in metallurgy, alloys, mechanical performance, metal deformation and fracture mechanics and failure analysis. After earning his PhD in Metallurgical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, he moved to the United States where he served as a National Research Council research fellow at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. For more than 20 years, he has taught at a prominent university in the Western US, lecturing and conducting research on fracture mechanics and material design.

This board-certified expert earned her MD from the University of Texas Southwestern, and completed a Residency in Pediatrics and a Fellowship in Neonatology from the University of Utah. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Perinatal Research Society, the Society for Reproductive Investigation and the Western Society for Pediatric Research. Formerly, this expert was a Visiting Instructor of Neonatology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Neonatology at a regional medical university.

This well-credentialed expert is Professor Emeritusof Soil and Crop Sciences at a public research university in Colorado, where he has held the title of Professor for over 20 years. He received his BS in Agronomy from Brigham Young University, his MS in Agronomy from Oklahoma State University, and his PhD in Crop Science from Oregon State University. The expert has presented at over 100 workshops/lectures and has authored nearly 50 refereed articles along with nearly 150 technical reports. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Agronomy and is also a member of the Crop Science Society of America and the Council for Agricultural Science and technology. His experience in farming dates back to his early life when he worked on a family farm in Idaho; he has been in academia focusing on agronomy and crop science for 38+ years.

This expert has over 20 of wide-ranging engineering experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University. He has held roles at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico working on earth penetration weapons research and other advanced weapon concepts as well as a leading a hydrokinetic marine turbine manufacturing company. Currently, he is a principal of a roller coaster and amusement ride design consultancy firm. He has been involved in the design of numerous roller coasters and other amusement rides. Prior to forming this consultancy, he served as Chief Engineer for S&S Power, one of the largest and most innovative amusement ride manufacturers in the world. He can speak to finite element analysis, dynamic systems analysis, mechanical design, launch systems, coaster train design, restraint design, pneumatics, hydraulics, data acquisition, data analysis, technical project management, specialty computer programming, and testing in the amusement industry.
