This nurse has over 20 years of experience in the long-term care nursing field. She earned her certificate as a practical nurse at the Cincinnati Public School of Practical Nursing and later earned her AAS in nursing from Excelsior College before her BSN and MBA from Western Governors University. She is a licensed registered nurse as well as being board certified as a geriatric nurse and nurse executive. She also holds additional certifications in director of nursing services, resident assessment coordinator, and QAPI certified professional. Throughout her career, she has held many roles including staff development director at East Galbraith Healthcare, charge nurse at Terrace View Gardens, director of nursing at Cooper's Trace Nursing and Rehab, and assistant director of nursing at Highland Springs. As of 2019, she has become president of a director of nursing training consultancy as well as the director of reimbursement for a clinical reimbursement company in Texas.
