Dr. Reid Abrams, MD

Dr. Reid Abrams has over 30 years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Surgery, with a focus on Hand Surgery and Pediatric Orthopedics. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Lawrence University and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at the same institution, he went on to complete fellowships in Pediatric Orthopedics at the University of California, San Diego, and Hand Surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Abrams is board certified in orthopedic surgery. Formerly, he held roles as Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery and Chief of Hand and Microvascular Surgery at UCSD Medical Center, and as Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. Currently, he serves as Medical Director of Koman Outpatient Pavilion and continues his role at UCSD Medical Center.
