Dr. Kornelis Poelstra, MD, PhD

Dr. Kornelis A. Poelstra has specialized experience in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Spine. They earned their MD and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Groningen. After completing their residency in Orthopedics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, they went on to complete a fellowship in Spine Orthopedics at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Today, the expert holds a certification in Orthopedic Surgery. Previously, they were a Spine Surgeon and a Director at The Robotic Spine Institute of Silicon Valley and an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Currently, they are a Director at The Robotic Spine Institute of Las Vegas, a President at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, and a Physician at Allegiant Spine Institute.
