Dr. Kathleen Leppig, MD, FACMG, FAAP

Dr. Kathleen A. Leppig has specialized experience in the fields of Medical Genetics, Clinical Cytogenetics, and Clinical Genetics. They earned their BA in Biology from Colgate University and their MD from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, they went on to complete a fellowship in Clinical Genetics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Today, the expert holds certifications in Clinical Cytogenetics and Genomics. Formerly, they served as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Univerisity of Washington School of Medicine. They are currently a Clinical Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine, a Clinical Geneticist and the Chief of Genetic Services for Kaiser Permanente Washington, and Acting Director of the Division of Medical Genetics at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. They are also a Co-Director of Diagnostic Cytogenetics, Inc., where they also serve as a Cytogeneticist and as a Medical Geneticist.
