Dr. John Nordt, MD, FAAOS

Dr. John C. Nordt has specialized experience in the fields of Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery of the Spine. They earned their BS from Wofford College and their MD from the University of Florida College of Medicine. After completing residencies in Orthopedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and in Spinal Cord Injury at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, they went on to complete a fellowship in Spine and Trauma Service at the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems. Today, the expert holds a certification in Orthopedic Surgery. Previously, they held roles as a Professor and Acting Director at the University of Miami, an Associate at Charles E. Virgin, M.D., and a Medical Director at Heartland Rehabilitation. Currently, they work as a Physician in Private Practice, a Medical Director at South Miami Sports Medicine, and a Medical Director at Spine Center of Miami.
