Dr. Paul Timothy Appleton has over 18 years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his AB in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College and his MD in Medicine from Dartmouth College. After completing his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program, he went on to complete a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary in Scotland, UK. Today, Dr. Appleton is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Formerly, he held roles as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and as Instructor in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Currently, he serves as Assistant Professor in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School and as Active Staff in Orthopedic Surgery at BIDMC.
