Doctor of Medicine
Dr. Michael Dillingham, MD earned both his BA in history and his MD at Stanford University. He went on to complete two residencies in orthopedic surgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation, both at Stanford. He completed a fellowship in spinal cord injury at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He has held a number of former positions such as associate chief of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, co-director of the musculoskeletal medicine program at Santa Clara University, associate director of the sports medicine program at Stanford, the director of orthopedics and rehabilitation services at Stanford, and the executive director of sports medicine at Stanford. He currently is a clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at a top medical school in Northern California as well as an attending orthopedic surgeon at three hospitals.
