Dr. Lisa Rozas

Dr. Lisa Rozas is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in her field. She obtained her BA in English Literature at the Dominican University and her MS in English Literature at The Catholic University of America. She then earned her MSW and PHD in social work at Smith College. Later, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship in psychiatry at Yale University. This expert is highly active in her field with over 20 peer-reviewed publications, 2 book reviews, and 4 book chapters. She formerly worked as both a clinical social work intern and orientation and group coordinator at River Valley Counseling Center. She then served as a clinical social work intern at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Throughout her career, she also served as head resident at Mount Holyoke, as a special assistant in social work at Smith College, and as a clinical social worker at Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. She then became director of social work at the University of Connecticut where she also worked as an assistant professor.
