Dr. Joseph Bernstein, MD, MS, FACS

Dr. Joseph Bernstein has specialized experience in the fields of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery. They earned their BA from Columbia University, their MS from Harvard College, and their MD from Weill Medical College of Cornell University. After completing their residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, they went on to complete a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Today, the expert holds a certification in Orthopedic Surgery. Previously, they held roles as a Sports Medicine Fellowship Director and Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and Attending Surgeon at PHMC Public Health Campus on Cedar. Currently, they work as an Attending Surgeon at Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center, Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and Director and Co-Founder at The CODMAN Group.
