Dr. Elliott Leitman has two decades of experience in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He earned his MD from Boston University before both a surgical internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine and knee reconstruction at Graduate Hospital. He is well-published and has given numerous presentations on topics in his field. He began his career in the US military, having served as an orthopedic surgeon at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, among others, and the director of the orthopedic clinic at Fort Dix before receiving an honorable discharge and the rank of lieutenant colonel. He has also served as team physician for multiple teams in Pennsylvania and Delaware, most notably the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Flyers. He was also employed as an orthopedic surgeon at Morgan Kalman Clinic. He is currently an orthopedic surgeon for an orthopedic clinic and a regional health system in Delaware, the director of orthopedics for a Pennsylvania county hospital, and a team physician for a high school and university in Pennsylvania.
