Dr. David Portugal, MD, FACC

Dr. David A. Portugal has 24 years of experience in the field of Cardiovascular Disease. He earned his BA in Biology from Baylor University and his MD from McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Tufts Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease. Formerly, this expert held roles as Co-Director and Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital and as a Critical Care Physician at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford. Currently, he serves as a Physician at Memorial Hermann Medical Group.
