Dr. Andrew C. Hecht has over 20 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery. He earned his B.A. in English and American Literature from Brown University and his M.D. from Harvard Medical School. After completing his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, he pursued fellowships in Trauma Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Spine Surgery at Emory University Spine Center. Dr. Hecht is currently serving as the Professor of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he also holds the position of Director of Mount Sinai Spine Center.
