Dr. Darryl Auston, MD, PhD

Dr. Darryl A. Auston has specialized experience in the fields of Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Trauma. They earned their BS in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego, their MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and their PhD in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After completing their residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Upstate Medical University, they went on to complete a fellowship in Orthopedic Traumatology at Florida Orthopaedic Institute. Today, the expert holds a certification in Orthopedic Surgery. Previously, they held roles as an Attending Physician at Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, Director of Hughston Trauma at Orange Park Medical Center, and Chairperson at North Suburban Medical Center. Currently, they work as a Director at Lutheran Medical Center, Director of Orthopedic Trauma at Intermountain Health, and Clinical Professor at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
