Dr. Casey Cates, MD

Dr. Casey Cates has over 13 years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his BS from West Texas A&M University and his MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After completing his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at UT Southwestern University Hospital, he went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at Carolinas Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the Orthopedic Trauma Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Texas Orthopedic Association. He also contributes to research in his field as the author of 2 peer-reviewed journal publications. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Medical Director of Orthopedics at Baylor Medical Center at Garland. Currently, he serves as a Surgeon of Orthopedic Trauma and as the Medical Director at Baylor University Medical Center.
