This expert, triple-board certified in Pediatric Dermatology, Dermatology and Pediatrics, earned her MD from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her Pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, where she served as pediatric chief resident. She also completed a Dermatology residency, Dermatology chief residency and Pediatric Dermatology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. This expert is a certified wound ostomy continence nurse. She is active in her field as a member of the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society, as an author of multiple nursing publications, and participating in professional development to stay up to date on practices in her field. She has formerly served as a patient care technician and staff nurse in the medical-surgical unit at Southside Regional Medical Center, as well as a home health case manager and wound ostomy continence nurse for Continuum Home Health. Currently, this expert serves as a certified ostomy nurse for a university-affiliated outpatient clinic in Virginia.
