This highly qualified expert served for 32 years in the Canadian Regional Police Service. He earned his BA in Political Science followed by a post-graduate certification in Police Management Sciences from Dalhousie University. He is licensed in numerous areas, including Immediate Action Rapid Deployment, Criminal Investigations Level 4, Incident Command Levels 1 and 2, Major Case Management, and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design. He is also a three-time recipient of the Nova Scotia Provincial Police Long Service Award from the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. His long career consisted of serving as a Constable in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, a Detective Constable in the Criminal Investigations Unit of the Halifax Regional Police, and a Constable in the Patrol Division of the Halifax Police Department.

This expert is a retired police officer and owner of a police training and consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Management, a Masters of Science in Psychology and is completing a doctoral degree in Performance Psychology. He is a Certified Criminal Investigator with the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute and a Force Science Certified Analyst with the Force Science Institute He currently teaches the application of Human Factors science to a police officer's use of force (Attention, Perception, Response Time, Decision Making, and Memory). This expert served 32 years with the San Francisco Police Department in a variety of different capacities. He began his experience as a police officer for nine years in patrol, and then went on to serve as a Sergeant and Inspector in the Investigations Bureau for over four years investigating Violent Crimes, Auto Theft, Burglary and Domestic Violence. He went on to serve as a Commander in the Patrol Bureau, Investigations Bureau, and over the Tactical Company and Homeland Security Unites. In his final role with the San Francisco Police Department, he served as Deputy Chief and was responsible for oversight of the 1700 member patrol force. Since retiring from the Police Department in 2013, this expert has been serving as a Lecturer in Criminal Justice Studies at a University in California.

He holds his MS in public management from St. Thomas University and is certified as a police firearms instructor, police defensive tactics instructor, and a crime prevention practitioner all in the state of Florida. This expert has been training police recruits and law enforcement officers in defensive tactics, firearms, patrol tactics, SWAT tactics, use of force and deadly force since 1988. He has trained thousands of law enforcement officers nationally. He remains active in his field as a member of the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association.

This highly-qualified expert has over 30 years of experience as a criminal defense lawyer, with a particular focus in use of force, self-defense, and weapons law. He earned both his BA in psychology and his JD from St. Louis University. He has completed several training sessions through the Ultimate Defense Firing Range and Training Center related to firearms and use of force and is a second degree black belt in tae kwon do. He is licensed to practice in 7 states and holds certifications in personal protection inside and outside the home and basic pistol, rifle, and shotgun through the National Rifle Association. This expert is also a federal firearms licensee. Currently, he serves as the founder and principal of a safety consulting firm and the managing partner and a founder of a law firm in Missouri.

This highly-qualified expert has nearly 40 years of experience in law enforcement and security operations. He is a licensed private investigator and has extensive experience in law enforcement best practices, security guard operations, use of force, premise liability, complex criminal investigations, homicide investigations, and K9 handling. He earned his BA from Claremont McKenna College before beginning his 30-year career with the LAPD. This expert started as a police officer I and rose in the ranks to eventually retire as a lieutenant II, officer-in-charge. Over the course of his career with the LAPD, he worked in several divisions, including the metropolitan division as a K9 handler, the burglary-auto theft division, major crimes division, and the robbery-homicide division. Upon retiring from the LAPD, this expert served as the CEO of Critical Solutions Protective Services Group for 7 years. Currently, this expert is the CEO and senior investigator of a private investigations consulting firm in California.

He earned his BS in political science and his MS in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida. He is a licensed security officer and security manager and stays active in his field as a member of the American Society for Industrial Security and the Gated Community Security Managers Association. Formerly, this expert held positions as a lieutenant and acting captain of criminal investigations, a patrol commander, and the staff director and chief of staff at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. He has also served as the director of security at Isleworth Country Club & Isleworth Community Association as well as the director of public safety for Ocean Reef Public Safety Department. Currently, he is a security director for a university in Florida, a part-time contract investigator for a financial security services company based in Maryland, and the president of his own law enforcement and private security consultancy.

He earned his AS in computer science from the State University of New York at Cobleskill and is currently pursuing a BS in criminal justice at Columbia Southern University. He began his career as a police officer with the Glen Falls Police Department where, during his 9 years with the department, he trained members of police department in firearms, tasers, and conducting defensive tactics and reality-based training exercises. He then went on to serve as a police officer with the Warren County Sheriff's Office. Currently, this expert serves as a consultant and instructor at a tactical training organization in New York. Throughout his career in law enforcement, he has gained expertise in defensive tactics and law enforcement training and has qualifications as a firearms instructor, defensive tactics instructor, taser instructor, and chemical munitions instructor.

He earned his BS in national security studies from New Jersey City University and later earned his JD from Rutgers Law School. He holds several certifications including public manager, use of force analysis, critical infrastructure protection, hostage negotiator, critical incident training instructor, firearms instructor, and advanced law enforcement rapid response training. Formerly, this expert served as a corrections officer and sheriff's officer for the Morris County Sheriff's Office. He also was a sergeant of marines in the United States Marine Corps before becoming a team leader for the Hudson County Regional SWAT Team/Crisis Negotiation Team. Currently, this expert is a police sergeant at a city police department in New Jersey.
