This security management expert has been in the field for more than 30 years. A Certified Protection Professional, he is extensively published and holds membership in both the American Society for Industrial Security and the International Association of Professional Security Consultants. He has lectured on security and criminology at the university level for multiple schools, including the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and he has served as corporate Security Director, Senior Security Director, and Chief Security Officer for three multi-national organizations. She is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International, and is actively involved in National Capitol Chapter as a former Board Member and current instructor for the CPP Preparation course. She is SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certified through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has earned a Masters in Science in Human Resources (MSHR) with honors. In June of 2015, she earned her Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) Certification through DHS, qualifying her to plan, consult and conduct large, full-scale emergency exercises. She was selected by Training Magazine in 2010 as one of their Top Young Trainers, an International honor.

This maritime safety and security expert spent 38 years working for the Horizon Lines / CSX Lines / Sea-Land Service entity, most recently serving as the Director of Marine Services from 1995 until 2013. In this position, he was responsible for vessel safety and security, crew management, and operations oversight. He launched an emergency response system during his tenure and also implemented new safety processes on all vessels. The expert has represented US interests at IMO and the UN on hazardous materials and freight container safety and has played a leadership role with many major industry advocacy and standards making bodies. He earned his B.S. in Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

This NJ-based expert has received his certification through the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association and is licensed to install and maintain fire alarm systems across five states on the east coast.
