Kinesiology Expert Witnesses in New Mexico

This expert has been involved in the ski/snow sport safety industry for more than 40 years. He has extensive experience in evaluating winter sports sites such as ski areas, tubing, and sledding venues. He is certified as a professional ski instructor, and as an outdoor emergency care technician, and a snowmobile instructor. He is a member of numerous societies relating to winter sports safety, and has taught skiing and ski patrolled at numerous ski resorts.

This expert is a certified OSHA outreach instructor , teaches OSHA compliance, and has spent many years focusing on the safety direction for construction, oil and gas companies. He earned his Masters Degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University and has held numerous safety management positions. In addition to his leadership roles in the oil and gas space, he is a licensed paramedic. Currently, this expert is the Owner and Operator of an industrial safety school, and the Corporate Safety Director of an oil and gas company. He is completing his Law degree at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

This expert has a quarter century of experience in offshore and high-level onshore marine related positions in the maritime and offshore oil and gas industries. A United States Coast Guard licensed Master since 2007, her background includes operational experience on container vessels, tankers, general cargo vessels, Ro-Ros, LMSRs, research vessels, and yard patrol craft. Her knowledge base also includes extensive experience in maritime operations, safety procedures, operations, logistics, consulting, project management, damage control and training. She was a Commander in the US Navy Reserve and served in the United States Merchant Marine Program until 2011.

This expert is a sport scientist, trained in exercise physiology and bio-mechanics. He recently served as the National Director of Education for the National Strength and Conditioning Association in Colorado Springs, CO. He has served as the Director of the Monfort Family Human Performance Research Laboratory at Colorado Mesa University. At the U.S. Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs, he was Recovery Center Leader, Head of Sport Biomechanics and Engineering, and Senior Physiologist. He has over 40 years experience in Olympic sports. This expert has served as an associate professor at the University of Utah’s Department of Exercise and Sport Science and Co-Director of the Motor Behavior Research Laboratory with adjunct appointments in Bioengineering and Physical Therapy. He was the Department Chair of Exercise Science & Sports Medicine at California Lutheran University and Director of the Human Performance Laboratory. Other positions include: Director of Research and Development for USA Gymnastics, Scientific Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation, and Chair of the United States Elite Coaches Association for Women’s Gymnastics. He has written 11 books, over 25 book chapters, received over $¼ million in grants and contracts, published over 300 articles on sport performance, over 35 professional awards. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, certified as an Athlete Recovery Specialist, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Wilderness EMT, and has several certifications in emergency communications, emergency medicine, and search and rescue.
