This ivy-league trained electrical engineer has extensive hands-on experience in product architecture, system and circuit design, system integration, hardware and firmware development, intellectual property including patent development, and consulting. He specializes in technology areas related to wireless systems, including RFID, RTLS, WLAN, WiMax, Wi-Fi (WiFi), MIMO, UWB, CDMA, OFDM, LTE, 3G, 4G, and others. Currently, this expert is an independent wireless technology consultant in Boston. He has been an expert on over 30 cases since 2011, including infringement reports, code review, evidence of use documentation, invalidity reports, rebuttals, claim construction, IPRs (petitioner, owner and amendments), technical analysis for damages, and licensing disputes.

This expert has over 25 years in electrical engineering and product development. He gained his MS and PhD in electrical engineering and systems from the University of Pennsylvania. After serving as an assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at the Illinois Institute, he transitioned to industry and spent 13 years at Motorola Mobility developing wireless products. He ended his tenure as Motorola's vice president of product management and development. Currently he is developing products at a start-up in Massachusetts.

He earned his BA in electrical engineering at Union College before completing his MS in electrical engineering and PhD in material science at the University of Vermont. Most recently, he served as an adjunct professor of semiconductor physics at the University of Vermont.
