He earned his BS from Colorado State University and completed the Colorado POST certification program at AIMS Community College. He has formerly served as the deputy sheriff for the Larimer County Sheriff's Office and an investigator for the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office. For over 10 years, this expert as an agent for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, acting as the agent in charge for a period of time. He has also served the director of security and investigations for the Colorado Lottery. As Director of Global Export and Travel Retail Marketing at Pernod Ricard USA, he created the marketing team for Global Export and Travel Retail for the Export territories China and Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, the Middle East, South Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Travel Retail. This expert held numerous sales and marketing positions at Seagram Americas, including ABSOLUT VODKA U.S. National Marketing Manager. He was responsible for brand positioning, packaging, pricing, marketing strategy, sales incentives, and distributor management for iconic Wine & Spirits brands including ABSOLUT VODKA, Stolichnaya, Crown Royal, Martell Cognac, Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Chivas Regal, The Glenlivet, Wild Turkey Bourbon, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Patron Tequila, Beefeater Gin, Kahlua, Sterling Vineyards, and Jacob's Creek. He received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and Comparative Cultures from the University of Virginia.
