This double board certified expert earned his MD at New York University School of Medicine and completed post-graduate training at the nation's top medical institutions. His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of general thoracic surgery. He has special interests in thoracic malignancies including lung cancer, esophageal cancer and mediastinal and chest wall tumors. This expert has published over 25 papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals including the Annals of Thoracic Surgery, The Journal of Surgical Research, Surgery, and The Journal of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery. In addition, he has authored several book chapters and has presented his research at the Surgical Forum of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of University Surgeons, the Association for Academic Surgery, and the American Association for Cancer Research.

This highly qualified nursing expert has extensive experience in his field and is skilled in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and critical care nursing. After earning his BS in nursing from Washburn University, this expert went on to obtain his MS in nursing there as well. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support and life support for the professional rescuer. He is a member of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses.
