He completed an internship and residency training in internal medicine at the University Colorado, in addition to fellowship training in pulmonology and critical care at the University of California, San Francisco. This expert has received numerous awards for his academic and clinical work and is a member of the American Thoracic Society. He has authored 70+ articles and serves as an editor and reviewer for a number of peer reviewed journals. He is active in his field as a member of several entomological associations, including the Association of Applied Insect Ecologists and the Entomological Society of America. He is also highly involved in entomological research, having authored numerous publications and spoken at many entomology conferences. He has received multiple awards for his work throughout his career. His former positions include professor of crop science at Cal Poly, department head of crop science and dairy science at Cal Poly, and executive director of the agricultural research institute at California State University.
