Prof. Josh Wiesman has been involved with children’s product development for over 17 years, focusing on consumer products and medical devices. He has over 20 patents issued for various products and has generated over $400 million in retail sales through his patents and products. He recently designed a baby lounger with safety in mind, utilizing features aimed at reducing the risk of SIDS. Formerly, he was the Director of engineering of a medical device company where he developed hands-on experience in product design. Currently, he is the CEO and Co-Founder of a direct-to-consumer infant products company based in Massachusetts. In addition, he is also a Professor at a university in Massachusetts where he teaches courses related to product design and entrepreneurship.
