Mr. Barry Peak has over 15 years of experience as a certified accident reconstructionist and mechanical engineer. He earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Central Florida, after a law enforcement career focusing on traffic accident investigation; he has testified in court many times in the past in his capacity as a police investigator. He has been an accident reconstructionist for a variety of firms, and is a member of professional organizations including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Automotive Engineers. His past projects include cases involving passenger vehicles, commercial/heavy truck, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, multiple-vehicle collisions, and low-speed collision analysis. He is licensed as both an accident reconstructionist and master automobile technician. He is currently based in Florida, where he serves as a mechanical engineer and accident reconstructionist for a forensic firm.
