Dr. Reid J. Smeda has over 35 years of experience in the field of Weed Science. He earned his BS in Crop and Soil Sciences and his MS in Horticulture from Michigan State University, followed by a Ph.D. in Horticulture from Purdue University. Formerly this expert served as a Plant Physiologist for the USDA Agricultural Research Service and as an Associate Professor and the Director for Undergraduate Programs in the Division of Plant Sciences at the University of Missouri. Currently, he is a Professor of Plant Sciences at the University of Missouri.
