Dr. Mark Rentschler, PhD, PE, FASME

Dr. Mark E. Rentschler has 17 years of experience in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, his MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Today, this expert is licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. Formerly, this expert served as the Sylvia Norviel Cancer Research Faculty Fellow and as the Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Graduate Program at the University of Colorado Boulder. He currently serves as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Colorado. He is also the Principal Investigator of the Advanced Medical Technologies Laboratory at the University of Colorado Boulder, a Principal and Expert Witness at Blue Innovation, LLC, and the Founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Aspero Medical, Inc.
