This highly-qualified expert has nearly 25 years of experience in neurological surgery. He has extensive experience in brain and spine care, traumatic brain injury, and sports-related spinal injuries. He received his BS in psychobiology and psychology at McGill University before earning his MD from the University of Louisville. He completed a general surgery and critical care residency at Phoenix Integrated Surgical before completing a neurological surgery residency at Barrow Neurological Institute, specializing in skull base, vascular neurosurgery, and complex spinal surgery. He subsequently completed a neurosurgery research fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. This expert is board-certified in neurological surgery and is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is also involved in research, having authored several publications and presented at a multitude of neurosurgery conferences. He has formerly served as the chief of neurosurgery at Tuscon Medical Center, Northwest Medical Center, and Eldorado Hospital.
