He earned his BS in biological sciences from the University of Nebraska and his DC from the Northwestern College of Chiropractic. He is a licensed chiropractor and holds several certifications, including chiropractic forensics, disability examiner, and independent medical examiner. He is active in his field as a member of numerous organizations, an author of a few scientific publications, and as an invited speaker at various conferences throughout his career.
