This mental health expert is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and the Associate Director of a forensic psychiatry fellowship program for a large public university in Colorado. Much of his work has focused on the mental health of prison inmates, with a particular emphasis on the effects of solitary confinement. The expert earned his M.D. from the University of Maryland Medical School and completed his psychiatric internship/residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
