This expert has over 35 years of experience in the field of bridge design and construction. He earned his BS at the Portuguese Military Academy, and a Graduate Engineering Diploma and MS in Structural Engineering at the University of Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa). He is certified as a Professional Civil Engineer, as an Expert Analyst in Finite Elements Methods, and as an Advanced Concrete Technologist. He has previously served as a Senior Regional Bridge Engineer for the SE of the US and South America while working for AECOM, Head of Structural Design for Consulgal, and has worked on a number of projects as a freelance Expert Consultant in Structural and Bridge design and construction. He currently serves as a Senior Supervising Engineer for an Engineering company ranked at the top 20 in the US, in their Irvine office in California.

This expert earned his BS in structural engineering at the University of Science and Technology in Iran and his MS in structural engineering from the University of British Columbia. This expert holds structural engineering licenses in California, Washington, Hawaii, Arizona, and Nevada and professional engineering licenses in California and Washington.
